This Privacy Policy describes how the EVolvo application for Android Automotive OS (package com.evolvo.aaos) and the EVolvo website (together, the "Service") handle information. The Service displays electric vehicle charging prices, charging station availability, electricity spot prices and vehicle energy cost estimates.

To display current information, the Service requests public data from the following third-party services. These requests contain no personal data from the Service, but, as with any internet request, the receiving server can see your device's IP address and basic request information. Their handling of such information is governed by their own privacy policies.
If you choose to connect a Volvo ID account, the Service communicates directly with Volvo Cars APIs (api.volvocars.com, volvoid.eu.volvocars.com) to retrieve vehicle energy and odometer data for the vehicle you authorise. Your Volvo credentials are entered on Volvo's own sign-in page and are not received by the developer. Data obtained from Volvo Cars is used only to display information within the Service. Use of Volvo Cars services is subject to the Volvo Cars privacy policy.
The developer does not operate servers that store your personal data, so no personal data is retained by the developer. Locally stored settings and cached data can be deleted at any time by clearing the app's storage, uninstalling the app, or clearing your browser's site data.
The Android Automotive OS app requests location permission and vehicle data permissions (energy, energy ports, speed, powertrain, exterior environment, mileage) only for the purposes described above. You can revoke these permissions at any time in the vehicle's system settings; some features may then be unavailable.
The Service is intended for vehicle drivers and is not directed at children under 16. The developer does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Network communication with third-party services uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and the "Last updated" date indicates the latest revision.
